Eamonn's Family

Uncle Gresh is married to Aunt Katie (pictured below) and is the father of adorable cousin Ava.

We're hoping he'll teach Eamonn a thing or two about backpacking, paintball and knocking down walls with a sledgehammer. Gresh is probably hoping Ava will dress Eamonn in women's clothes as payback for the makeovers he endured at the hands of Eamonn's mother. Gresh plays drums in a very cool band - visit their website at www.mothergrundy.com.

Aunt Katie was the first to visit the day after Eamonn was born. She has already proven to be a great resource for Eamonn's parents since he was labeled a "big eater." We look forward to many playdates with Katie and Ava!

Ava is almost 1 year old and is hilarious. We love when she visits and shares her knowledge about the good toys and books Eamonn should have. Here she is on our back deck eating lunch with Mamo.

Speaking of Mamo - here are the grandparents! Mamo (aka "Momo") and Granddaddy are Eamonn's maternal grandparents and live in San Diego. Grammie and Grampy are the paternal grandparents and live in Boston. Eamonn is loved from coast to coast!

Eamonn has his first visit with his grandparents from Boston - the first of many he hopes!

Eamonn is also lucky to have 6 aunts and uncles on his father's side! Aunt Beth lives the closest in L.A.; then Aunt Chrissy in Berkeley. Aunt Meg lives in Austin, followed by Uncle Rich in New York (aka the Godfather), and Uncle Tim and Aunt Michelle in Boston.

First day home

Born weighing 7 pounds, 9 ounces, Eamonn spent his first day home sleeping and being held by Aunt Beth. Neighbors Becky and Kelly brought dinner! Everyone exclaimed what a "good" baby Eamonn is, and Elizabeth and Greg thought they had this parenthood thing licked. Little did they know.....
