We were so lucky to have Elyse visit from Manhattan, and Tyler postpone his move back East, for Eamonn's mom's thirtieth birthday party!

Weekend BBQ

We ventured out to our friends' Diana and Dave's for a BBQ to "test wine" in preparation for next year's Black and White Ball.

Eamonn sacked out in the sling and was very good until his bedtime at 7pm. Then he let us know it was time to leave.

Visit with Ava

We stopped by to see Eamonn's cousin Ava and his Aunt Katie, and were there to see Ava greet her daddy coming home from work - then her grandfather stopped by! It is so nice to have some of our family living close by.

First trip to the Beach!

Feeling adventurous, Eamonn's parents decided to meet his grandma and godmother at Kellogg's beach - a local secret (no waves, no crowds!) over Labor Day weekend.

We slathered Eamonn in SPF 50+ and loaded up the umbrella - and hoped everyone around us was wearing sunglasses due to the combined glare factor of Eamonn and his parents.

This month has been very cool. Eamonn not only shows an interest in his toys, he has definite preferences. The caterpillar is in first place with the monkeys a close second.
