New tricks!

So no new pictures - but I am going to seize the opportunity to use this as a record for things I can't seem to write down in E's baby book.

He is crawling up a storm, and he likes to carry a soft toy around in his mouth as he crawls. Grandma "DeeDee" commented that he must be mimicking the dogs - hilarious. This insight also brought to light that E's new trick of sticking out his tongue repeatedly like a lizard may be due to Freddy's neuroses.

One very cool new skill E has acquired is that he can whistle!!!!! Yep - he purses his lips deliberately and blows out to make a sound. Mom is very proud of teaching this.

E has started to vocalize the more we expose him to music - many nights we wind down with Mom at the piano and Dad singing along (G has a much better voice than E!). One or two songs into the routine E will start to vocalize - it's pretty cute.

Overall - he is one damn cute kid! In fact, both of his parents are so in love with him right now we can't wait to get home to him (I wonder if this new infatuation has anything to do with him sleeping through the night............).

GO PATRIOTS!!!

Eamonn has learned how to "give kisses" -

Hanging with his cousin

Ava came over after breakfast and before the Pats' victory on Sunday - it seems the tables may have turned and now Eamonn is the one going for her hair, toys, etc. I sense they are going to have a GREAT time together in a few months!

Ava likes to play with Eamonn's exersaucer - and she is always very sweet - giving him lots of kisses and hugs.

Things got a little hectic towards the end of our visit - I think this clip is hilarious as it shows Eamonn jumping like a madman; Ava rocking the toy with him; Eamonn deciding he's tired and doesn't want to play anymore; pushing Ava away and grabbing her hair; and then Ava discovers the TV cabinet before Uncle Gresh steps in.

Nine months old and crawling!

One of Eamonn's favorite things to do now is to crawl down the hall of his bedroom to "visit" his best friend in the mirror. It is hilarious. He is crawling faster every day - today he crawled the lengths of our living and dining rooms to get to me in the kitchen in about 2 minutes. Watch out!

Visit with Aunt Barbe and Kris

We had a great visit with Aunt Barbe and cousin Kristin - they were troopers in accomodating the kids' erratic sleeping schedules!

First Christmas, White Christmas

Packing for Boston.

The whole Daniels clan came home for Christmas.

As you can see - Eamonn had a GREAT time - he was in a wonderful mood and loved all the activity. He met over 30 new faces, and saw some favorites as well!

We had one outing and went to visit Louise, Dan, Patrick and the pugs so the boys could engage in "parallel play"
